Rose was seen jogging along the street wearing a sport short pant bringing out her hips and butt with a crop top showing some of her boobs making all the men stare at her as she run pass then and she just rolled her eyes. Her male voices aren’t overly gruff and her voice for Sadie felt spot on.Wanna find out…then follow me up to read this mind blowing story. Meg Sylvan narrates and did a splendid job of capturing all the firsts and emotions of both Sadie and Erik. These are all audio firsts, but will release as ebooks in the summer. I am looking forward to the next audio, Below Zero. My only gripe, I wish it was a full-length story, but the author made it work and I quickly devoured it. Hazelwood made me laugh, swoon, bang my head in frustration and blush, but she also had me rooting for this couple and hoping for at least a happily ever-someday. Clearly she doesn’t handle confrontation, and the elevator was a blessing. It was a doozy and you can see why Sadie acted the way she did. I loved their sports talk and while the getting to know you phase quickly morphed into more, I couldn’t help but wonder what tore it all apart. Their meet cute was adorkable, sweet and had me rooting for them from the start. I am not usually a fan of the miscommunication trope, but Hazlewood placed our hero and heroine in an elevator and forced them to talk it out, or at least listen, something I have often wanted to do to characters in this genre. While trapped in the elevator, Hazelwood shares what happened between Sadie, an environmental engineer and Erik, a member of their companies’ biggest competition. Yeah, so maybe immediately blocking his calls and refusing to talk with him wasn’t the most mature idea she has ever had, but he’s a two-faced snake….or is he? When Sadie finds herself stuck in an elevator with the man who curled her toes and ripped out her heart all within twenty-four hours, she is forced to communicate with him. To read Mara and Hannah’s stories look for the novellas Under One Roof, available now, and Below Zero, coming soon from Berkley! Maybe, possibly, even burned bridges can still be crossed…. But while she refuses to acknowledge the siren call of Erik’s steely forearms or the way his voice softens when he offers her his sweater, Sadie can’t help but wonder if there might be more layers to her cold-hearted nemesis than meet the eye. Not even the most sophisticated of Sadie’s superstitious rituals could have predicted such a disastrous reunion. To listen to Mara and Hannah’s stories look for the novellas Under One Roof, available now, and Below Zero, coming soon - available first on audio! Maybe, possibly, even burned bridges can still be crossed. Erik can apologize all he wants, but to quote her rebel leader - she’d just as soon kiss a Wookiee. However, as a woman of STEM she also understands that variables can change, and when you are stuck for hours in a tiny New York elevator with the man who broke your heart, you earn the right to burn that brawny, blond bridge to the ground. Logically, Sadie knows that civil engineers are supposed to build bridges. Though their fields of study might take them to different corners of the world, they can all agree on this universal truth: When it comes to love and science, opposites attract and rivals make you burn. Mara, Sadie, and Hannah are friends first, scientists always. Nothing like a little rivalry between scientists to take love to the next level. From the New York Times best-selling author of The Love Hypothesis comes a new steamy, STEMinist novella.
